Executive Director's Message: The decision to change the direction one's life has taken, to seek to become a new person; needs to be encouraged. These are our neighbors and our friends, we need to be there for them.
Program Manager's Message: Our outreach to the residents of Ontario Correctional Institute has resumed from November 2022. It is rewarding that those who attend are engaged, enthusiastic and appreciative. The road to victory is often difficult to travel, but to abandon the journey certainly leads to failure.

Starting in March of 2025, Brampton Prison Ministry is excited to announce a brand new Zoom meeting focused on the unique problems often encountered in early recovery and the sharing of wisdom we've gained from navigating those unique challenges
Dad HERO Program
Cycles of abuse and neglect often perpetuate through generations. In recovery one of the hardest tasks we can take on is reconnecting with our family, our children.
In December of 2024, we were approached by another organization to help develop a program to help people who have been incarcerated reconnect with families and heal those wounds. While this is still in early development, we're excited at the possibilities this holds for the future and our members.
Bags of Confidence
The main goal of Bags of Confidence is to provide a backpack with sundry items to every resident leaving Ontario Correctional Institute.
With a need for approximately 100 backpacks each year, we rely on generous community donations to reach these goals.
Never Pass A Fault
Spring as a season tends to remind us of rebirth. It serves as a great inspiration for our newsletter's logo of a phoenix. Recovery can feel not just like a rejuvenation but the beginning of a new life entirely, one that has taught us important lessons such as:

Seek And Accept Responsibility: It doesn't matter if it was a big mistake or a little mistake, if something goes wrong then own it with integrity the same way you would own your victories with pride.
